Week 8 Peer interview 13.Mar.

During the course, we had the chance to meet and interact with three graduates who are now working in different areas of the landscape industry. Their firsthand experiences and insights offered us invaluable guidance on what to expect in the field and how to establish our own position.

Through their stories, we learned about the different challenges and opportunities that arise in various areas of the industry, such as design, construction, and management. They shared their experiences of working on real-life projects, the obstacles they encountered, and how they overcame them. Additionally, they provided us with practical tips on how to develop our skills, build our network, and establish ourselves as competent professionals in the field.

Their stories were not only informative but also inspiring, as they showed us how our passion for landscape architecture could be transformed into a fulfilling career. They also helped us to see how our individual strengths and interests could be leveraged to carve out our own niche in the industry.

These interactions with industry professionals were an invaluable addition to the course, providing us with a realistic perspective of what to expect in the field and how to prepare ourselves for success. As a result, many of us left the course feeling more confident and better equipped to pursue our goals in the landscape industry. Personally, I feel much more confident that my wish to work in practical site can be realized, and I look forward to applying the knowledge and skills I have gained to achieve my career aspirations.
