Visit to Northern Metropolis

Off-class stuff

The Northern Metropolis is positioned as a new economic engine for Hong Kong, a base for new industries, and a platform for high-quality cooperation with the rest of the Greater Bay Area. It will be home to 2.5 million people, around a third of Hong Kong's current population.

At present, there are many problems in coordinating ecological protection and urban development near the metropolitan area, such as the protection of large wetland areas that serve as habitats for waterfowl and a variety of other organisms, as well as pollution from fishing and human activities. However, the development of the northern metropolis also brings unlimited opportunities and challenges for landscape designers in Hong Kong.
