ORGANISING A PROJECT

The class shared a question-and-answer session about real projects, which involved different types of contracts, such as design and build contracts.

The strengths of a design and build contract include streamlined communication and coordination since the client deals with a single entity responsible for both design and construction, leading to potentially faster project completion and cost savings. Additionally, this approach can foster innovation and creativity as the design and construction teams collaborate closely to achieve the project's goals efficiently.

In his lecture, the instructor shared with us the documents of real projects, which involve the documents necessary for bidding, such as Drawings，Specification, and  Bills Of Quantity.
