The second week of class focused on sharing the do's and don'ts of the job search process, which can be boiled down to five areas: Appearance; Preparedness; Professionalism; Flexibility / Adaptability; and Suitability. An enlightening point was that the main thing that needs to be let in on the interview process is that the The interviewer needs to be aware of the individual's ability to learn, not what he/she already knows. This is because there is still a big gap in what has been learned so far.

This week I attended a job fair organized by HKU that brought together a variety of companies from different industries. I had the opportunity to talk and ask questions to the interviewers and HR to get information about the local market.
